Paul & Louie, So many of us tried so hard to do what we could to find Barry and it was only out of love and concern for him and all of you that we did this as the least we could for all the joy and great memories you provided to us throughout the years. Know we carry all of you in our hearts and prayers today, tomorrow and forever.

Considering all you've done for us over the years, it was the least we could do. I know that I wish it could have been more. My heart and prayers are with you.

Pablo & Louie,
You know that the fans have always been here...even when we lost touch of our favorite musical family over the years, our devotion has remained constant. Everyone who aided the search, whether by phone calls or daily prayers, would have done it for any and all of you. Your music has touched so many lives. (Just LOOK at the number of entries in B's Memorial Page!) Bottom line is that we're all one big family and the affection is sincere. Know what I'm sayin'?
We'll miss you at this year's Princess Bash but you and Louie will just have to give each other hugs on our behalves, okay? Take care...
We'll toast Barry and honor him well...

Paul & Louie, It is an honor to have your family in our lives, as well. As is obvious, y'all have had an overwhelming influence in our past, present and into the future. I just wonder how many "first" concert experiences y'all unknowingly contributed, how many "first" crushes, and how many of us y'all ushered into the Pop/Rock Generation. I know I am one who had the honor of having those "first" experiences shared with The Cowsills!! My only regret is not being able to know Barry, as so many fortunate souls did! And...I live in Louisiana! AND...have been to New Orleans numerous times and never got to see him -- certainly is my loss. But, he will live forever in my heart and in my CD's ( plus, the old LP's I have from the good old days ). I know he is at Peace now and am looking forward to that day when we all gather for the great Concert in the Sky! Peace & Love

Hi Paul and Louie, There's no need to thank us, really! Everything we did in the search for Barry...we did because we wanted to help a very special family. I wouldn't have had it any other way, and if any of you ever need anything at all..we are all one big family here..so don't ever hesitate to ask. Remember, we love you all! Lauren

I think we should be thanking you for allowing us to take part in all this! The whole Cowsill family was very gracious to allow pretty much perfect strangers help in the search for Barry. Yes, you mean that much to us. Always have, always will.
Take care, you two. My thoughts and prayers are with you. We all grieve with you.

You and your family have meant so much to all of us over the years - not only for your music, but for the wonderful people that you all are - that helping in the search for Barry was the least we could all do. We thank you for letting us be a part of the search, and for letting us share in your grief. And just think of the *awesome* jam session that Barry's a part of now! -Bob 'Skippy' Blechinger Sioux Falls, SD

Dear Paul and Louie, Thank you for your kind words. One of the main sources of solace for me during this time is the knowledge that if we left stones unturned in our search for Barry during the days and weeks following Katrina, it was not due to a lack of diligence. We followed every lead we knew about or even thought about. Your family’s willingness to share details made those leads possible, and we are truly grateful for your graciousness in allowing us to help with the effort. The feeling that we were doing something constructive also kept our hands and hearts busy during a very difficult time. Paul, from the first time I met you (as you were helping me up off the floor and out of the trashcan at TORI 2003 , I said you were a gentleman among gentlemen. Your acknowledging our grief and offering condolences to us simply confirms my initial impression. Thanks to all of you for being the kind and down-to-earth people you are.

I will just echo the above sentiments. You have class and grace for both thanking us and caring about how we're doing. Our efforts were fruitless, but I do think it helped make us feel that we were somehow standing beside you in your pain.
Time can be short without our knowledge. I've forever lost the chance to thank Barry for everything he meant to me. I sure hope that I can thank you, Paul, in person one day. I'm thinking of you, Louie and your whole gang. Be strong.

Thank YOU and your wonderful family for letting us be a part of the Cowsill extended family and for embracing us and trusting and letting us help find Barry. Every person who helped, prayed, thought, did whatever they could to help find Barry. We carried forward despite the passing of time, holidays, lack of leads and with none of the leads panning out.
The Cowsills were a part of "our" families for years. We love you and it's only right that we try to give back just a tiny bit of what you have given to us over many, many years. We grieve with you and respect your privacy as a family. You all reside in our hearts and always will. That's where Barry is right now...in my heart.
