September 1st. His body was recovered on December 28th.
He had planned to return to Plymouth, in 06' with his new band, in support of the
new CD.
A consummate performer, Barry was a humble man with a good heart and a generous spirit. He will
be missed by all of us who knew him.
Our condolences go out to his family.

Following the closing of Bert's Cove, several years ago, we moved to Sean
O'Toole's Public House. Unfortunately, they had ONLY Wednesdays available,
and that, combined with the difficult room acoustics, forced us to end the run
in July of 04'.
When Bert's cove reopened this year, we were very excited to get back to Berts

Bluesman Ed Cannata.
And Sadly.................
Our Friend, Barry Cowsill(yes, from the Cowsills), became the latest celebrity who was a
confirmed victim of Hurricane Katrina.
Barry, who was in New Orleans recording a new album, had been missing since
September 1st.

The Stoneforge Restaurant, @ Bert's Cove Warren Ave.(Rte 3A), Plymouth
is Under NEW management,
ALL ENTERTAINMENT IN THE SKYBOX HAS BEEN CANCELLED.
OPEN MIC IS ORPHANED AND NEEDS A HOME!!!!!!
Although our numbers were really good for the Open Mike and Brews Jam,
We have been cancelled, as well.
I'm looking for a New Home for Thursday nights in Plymouth. Our
Thursday Night Tradition began in 1998, at The Plymouth Bay Brewing
Company. after the PBBC closed, we moved to Bert's Cove in the Lower
lounge, and while small, it was a great home for several years(we simultaneously
had a Wednesday Night Open Mic and Brews Jam at Ricky T's Blues Club for a
few months).
AND to have our Thursday night slot again. The acoustics were terrific, and all
of our old friends were returning, as well as a number of "first timers". We are
actively seeking a new home.
