Barry's daughter Carrie posted in the Memorial Book yesterday. It's very touching to read. Blessings to you, Carrie.
Some of you have posted that you've been listening to John Denver's music lately. I had the same sense of loss when he died that I do now with Barry's death. And I think they have something in common. From what I've read, both of them felt that they did not make the musical impact that they wanted to, that people didn't appreciate their music. How wrong could they be?

Yes...it made me want to grab her through the computer and hold her. The emotion was overwhelming. I think I sort of slipped back a few spots in the process myself.

Oh, yes. I agree with Kathy. I just wanted to reach through the computer and hold her and reassure her that Barry did love her very much. He told me so. He loved all of his kids and he treasured them in his heart.
I hope she can come to his memorial service so she can see what her heart is feeling, how many people he touched and how he made a difference in many lives. As I've said before there is only one Barry Cowsill - Forever.
