Okay.........I found out recently that I have to move yet again...........ugh......... Only good thing that has come of it..........is that..I found my beloved Cowsill scrapbook that I've had since I was 9 or 10. I brought it with me to TORI 2003, obviously put it in the garage........and it was never to surface again..until 2 days ago. Yippee yahoo............ I still have an unfinished letter to Susan Cowsill..........and a letter never sent to Ms. Gloria Stavers........a 5th grade school composition on the Cowsills..........graded, "very nicely done" by my teacher.........and lots of other stuff of course.
Plus today ...........I have been cleaning feverishly...........trying to get this house ready for inspection and show..........not so easy with the recent finding of Barry's death.......and a recent death in my extended family...... Many a tears have been shed.........Life is hard....... However.........there was one, great, sunny part of my day today. That was..............when I popped in "The Cowsills" dvd...... Oh joy of joys.........oh so sweet memories and newer memories. They were soooooooo cute. I really LOVE the double video set and it's especially fun to watch Bob and Paul's commentary. I know..........my blurb is a repeat.........we've all watched our videos..........we've all posted......... Well just consider this......a resurrected "HAPPY" post!!!

That's funny, Kim...my young daughters just finished watching the TV-DVD also a few minutes ago (their choice for today's "screen time"). With competition from so many "current" artists, it's funny how the Cowsills' appeal is so timeless. While the clothes are a bit dated (...?yellow pants and orange shirts!), the music stands the test of time.

This DVD was put together for Billy's Benefit concert. It's a 2 vol. set. The first one is lots of old Cowsill appearances and commercials, the second one is Bob and Paul watching the first one and their comments on it. They are great to watch!!!! I assume the DVDs are still available with a contribution to Billly's fund - you might need to check with Vicky about it.

Thanks for the info, Caren!! I sent a donation to Billy -- hopefully, a fund can be set up for Barry's kids and grandkids, too. I am happy to see the 'old" site back up and running..it really means a lot to be able to reach out and touch them through it...thanks again!
